I am not sure if it is the lack of substantial rain, or all the talk of the rapture, but something is going way wrong in North Texas Schools. This week alone, numerous reports of sexual abuse have been charged against teachers.
Another North Texas teacher surrendered to police this week on charges of having an improper relationship with a student. In the latest story from the “big state,” 27-year-old Christian Michael Flores, a science instructor and coach at North Garland High School, turned himself into authorities over an improper relationship with a student. Once in custody, police slapped him with an additional charge. This charge was for indecency with a child by contact. Both charges involve a female under the age of 17. However, police are still trying to determine if there were more victims involved.
Also this week, in Irving, April St. John Alexander was arrested for a sexual relationship with a student. The 26-year-old biology teacher at MacArthur High School is accused of having sex with a 16-year-old boy. According to the victim, he had sex with the teacher approximately two dozen times or more. The encounters, according to authorities, occurred both at the school and the teacher’s car.
Just a stone’s throw away, in Arlington, authorities reveal a scandal involving sexting and sex orgies between numerous students and teacher Brittni Colleps. The high school coach and teacher surrendered to police after a warrant was issued for her arrest.
Colleps is a first-year teacher of English and girls’ freshman basketball at Kennedale High School, according to her school bio page, which has since disappeared. She is accused of having improper relationships with five male Kennedale High School students.
The orgies and sexually explicit texts occurred, according to investigators, while her husband was away for military duty. According to her attorney, the couple has three children. Investigators say the children were not at the home during the offenses.
Colleps is charged with five felony counts of inappropriate relationship between a teacher and a student.
